Shakira baby news: As media outlets began speculating that Shakira was admitted to the hospital to give birth, the singer seemingly confirmed the news on Twitter.
“I’d like to ask you all to accompany me in your prayers on this very important day of my life. Shak,” she tweeted today.
According to reports, Shakira was taken to a Barcelona hospital on Monday, January 21, after feeling “increasing discomfort.”
Her boyfriend, Gerard Pique, posted the news on Instagram. “This Tuesday our first son will be born.” The post has since been deleted, however, sources confirm that Shakira is expected to give birth today.
Shakira, 35, and Pique, 25, announced the pregnancy in November.
