It appears that Kate Gosselin really wasn’t cut out to be a coupon clipper after all. The reality show mom has been fired from her gig as a coupon blogger at CouponCabin.com because she is no longer a “good fit.”
Founder and CEO Scott Kluth wrote an open letter today that he posted on the company website:
“A series of recent events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago. Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at CouponCabin.” Ouch!
Toward the end of the narrative Kluth made it clear that fans of the website wanted her gone: “Her contributions garnered both positive attention and criticism, but as always, I respect and appreciate your candid opinions, which often encourage us not to lose sight of our mission — to help YOU save money. We wish Kate, her family and her support staff all the best.”
Earlier today Kate posted a cryptic message on Twitter:
