The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a call late Saturday evening reporting that Katherine Jackson has not contacted key family members and they fear she is being held against her will.
Her nephew Trent Jackson filed a missing person’s report on behalf of Katherine’s grandchildren, who have been unable to reach the family matriarch since she left her Calabasas home to fly to Albuquerque to attend a Jackson brothers concert. She was accompanied by her oldest daughter, Rebbie.
Jermaine Jackson reported via his Twitter page earlier in the week that his mother was resting in Arizona on doctor’s orders.
Granddaughter Paris Jackson left a message on her Twitter account early this morning, “Yes, my grandmother is missing. I haven’t spoken with her in a week I want her home now. The same doctor that testified on behalf of Dr Murray saying my father was a drug addict (a Lie) is caring for my grandmother…just saying.”
This latest situation appears to be part of an internal family dispute regarding control of the Jackson family estate. Paris called out her uncle Randy Jackson on Twitter last week for suggesting that Katherine Jackson, her legal guardian, had suffered a stroke. She tweeted that his claim was absolutely false.
Sunday at 4:44 AM PT, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department released this statement: “Katherine Jackson is reportedly with family members. Late Saturday night, a different family member reported that he was unable to speak with her and is concerned for her well being. Deputies are continuing to make efforts to reach her and ask that she contact the Malibu-Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.”
Developing story…
