Wynonna Judd and Cactus Moser exchanged vows during a wedding ceremony at her farm in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee on June 10. Speculation swirled because two important women were not in attendance; mother Naomi Judd and sister Ashley Judd.
The bride told Us Weekly that she wasn’t even sure that her family was aware that the wedding took place because she didn’t send them an invitation.
The ‘Love Can Build a Bridge’ songstress said candidly, “I didn’t want it to be about anyone but Cactus and me. Because to me, at the end of the day, it’s the children, Cactus, and me . . I was so concerned about making this feel special for them, everything fell away.”
Attending the nuptials were WJ’s children Grace, 16, and Elijah, 17, and Moser’s sons Cahl, 23, Wyatt, 18, and daughter Sunshine, 33.
Judd speculates, “Ashley’s probably so busy with husband Dario Franchitti having won the Indianapolis 500, she probably doesn’t even know.”
The country entertainer considers the family dynamic a work in progress, “We’re getting ready to sit down with our life coach and re-evaluate what we want out of this relationship … We just don’t have a lot of contact right now, if any, because we’re all doing our own thing. I’m getting ready to have a meeting with Ashley, and re-do our family contract, and re-set our boundaries. It’s just really healthy.”
