Miley Cyrus revealed on Monday that contrary to media speculation, she is not engaged to Hunger Games hunk Liam Hemsworth.
The rumor mill heated up last Thursday after she tweeted a photo showing her recent manicure.
It wasn’t the nail job that was of interest but rather what appeared to be a sparkler of particular significance on the finger generally associated with engagement and wedding bling.
Over the weekend she hit the red carpet sporting the same ring during a Saturday night gig in Phoenix with her Aussie boyfriend – photos here.
After four days of playing it coy, the 19-year-old hit Twitter yesterday to chide us all for our stupidity.
She tweeted, “I’m not engaged. I’ve worn this same ring on this finger since November! People just wanna find something to talk about! It’s a topaz people!”
Thanks for clearing that up MC. Consider us all duly chastised.
