The Los Angeles County Coroner issued the official cause of death report in the case of Whitney Elisabeth Houston.
Her death at the age of 48 on February 12, 2012 was the result of drowning, with the contributing factors of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use.
She was found submerged in a bathtub full of water, having ingested cocaine before her accidental drowning.
The toxicology finding cited several other drugs in her system that did not contribute to her death. They included Marijuana, Xanax, Flexeril and Benadryl.
No trauma or foul play is suspected.
