Actress, model, former WWE wrestler, and current George Clooney girlfriend Stacy Keibler is in talks to join The X Factor.
Producers are looking for replacements for judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, and host Steve Jones, who were fired after season one. Although it’s unclear which role Keibler would play, negotiations still continue to bring Britney Spears on as a judge.
“Talks are still ongoing with Britney, and she is asking for a lot more money, than was originally offered. But producers are confident Britney will realize this is a great opportunity for her to reinvent herself and accept their deal,” a source close to the show tells Page Six.
Reportedly, Spears was offered $10 million, but has demanded as much as $20 million.
Darren Criss, of Glee fame, was offered the hosting job, but declined citing his busy schedule. Simon Cowell says he always wanted “a boy and a girl to host the show,” which bodes well for Keibler, since she may not have the music chops for a judges spot.
According to a source for the show, Keibler’s “lack of experience in the music business may make her more appropriate as a host. She looks fantastic and has bags of charisma.”
