Actor Michael Madsen was arrested yesterday in Los Angeles and charged with felony child endangerment.
The Kill Bill star was nabbed in Malibu at 3:55 p.m. and taken into custody by the L.A. Sheriff’s Department.
Officers were dispatched after receiving a 911 call regarding a family dispute between Michael and one of his five sons. Upon arrival they observed signs of injury on the minor and it appeared that Madsen was under the influence of alcohol.
The actor was booked and charged with child endangerment and cruelty to a child, a felony. He is currently being held on $100,000 bail.
Attorney Perry Wander told TMZ, “Michael found his son smoking pot and they got in an argument when he tried to take it away. It’s a family matter and Michael asks that his families privacy be respected.”
Madsen has two sons with ex-wife Jeannine Bisignano. He and current wife Deanna Morgan have been married 14 years and have three sons.
