After a 28 year romance, Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed tied the knot on Saturday evening at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The KISS bassist, 62, exchanged vows with Tweed, 54, at an outdoor ceremony in front of 400 guests, including the couple’s two children Nick, 22, and Sophie, 19.

Other attendees included Hugh Hefner and Bill Maher. Serving in the wedding party was KISS band mate Paul Stanley.

The nuptials were taped for an upcoming episode of A&E reality series, Gene Simmons’ Family Jewels, expected to air later this month.

The bride wore an ivory Priscilla of Boston gown and carried a bouquet of ivory garden roses as she walked down the aisle. After reciting their own original vows, the crowd cheered when Simmons said “I do.”

After nearly three decades together, the couple’s first wedding dance, performed by daughter Sophie, was to the strains of At Last by Etta James.
