Mercede Johnston is followed in the footsteps of her older brother Levi Johnston, with a pictorial in the September issue of men’s mag Playboy. Big brother appeared in Playgirl at the end of 2009.
Along with the nude photo shoot is a companion interview trashing former Alaska governor Sarah Palin and her family. The most tantalizing tidbit was her suggestion that the politician is unstable.
Interviewer George Gurley asked Johnston to speculate on how Palin might do if elected president: ” I think she’d have had a mental breakdown. As governor she quit on us. What does that say about her?”
The 18-year-old also took some serious jabs at Sarah’s 22-year-old son Track Palin. She suggested that his mother forced him to join the Army: “His mom made him. She wanted him out of the way so when she was at the convention they wouldn’t know he does drugs and would think he was a patriot.”
Mercede and Levi’s mother was convicted in 2009 for dealing OxyContin and is currently serving a three year sentence on house arrest with an ankle bracelet that monitors her movements. That said, Mercede blames the fact that she can’t get a job in Wasilla because the Palin’s have tainted public opinion against the Johnston family.
