Last week Sgt. Scott Moore of the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marines in Musa Qala, Afghanistan uploaded a video to YouTube asking actress Mila Kunis to be his date for the Marine Corps Ball.
The stunt may have seemed a little unrealistic until it went viral, grabbing national attention and achieving the desired results.
Mila, who stars in the new romantic comedy Friends With Benefits with Justin Timberlake, got a little peer pressure from her co-star.
Timberlake urged his pal to take the Marine up on his offer: “Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? You need to do it for your country.”
In true patriotic spirit, Kunis has agreed to be Sgt. Moore’s date on November 18, in Greenville, North Carolina.
Kunis took to Twitter to share her excitement: “I’m so happy to be going to the Marine Corps Ball!”
