Prince William and his lovely bride, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, attended the star-studded BAFTA Brits to Watch Gala held at the Belasco Theatre on Saturday evening.
After a day of polo in Santa Barbara, the royal newlyweds walked the red carpet along with a strong contingent of Hollywood A-listers.
Kate wore a lilac Alexander McQueen gown and accessorized the gorgeous creation with earrings that belong to Queen Elizabeth. Her spouse, second in line to the royal throne, wore a classic black tux.
Fourteen table hosts were allowed to personally meet and greet the Royal couple. They were instructed: “They want to meet all of you. They will try and chat with all of you this evening. When you meet them, you don’t have to bow and curtsy. You can call them whatever you feel: ‘Your Royal Highness,’ ‘Sir,’ ‘Ma’am,’ ‘William’ and ‘Kate’ — just as the mood takes you.”
Dana Delany made quite a fashion statement on the red carpet — was that a giant caterpillar slung over her shoulder?
We’ve got the red carpet photos. Check them out below:
