Beyonce is known for being a very private person but she spoke candidly with Piers Morgan during an hour long interview in London that will air Tuesday night on CNN.
The singer, whose album ‘4‘ is available in stores today, spoke in depth about taking a year off from her busy work schedule. She explained, “I learned a lot about myself.”
She reflected on being so wrapped up in her career that she didn’t even realize that she had won 16 Grammy awards: “I got up and accepted my awards, but I didn’t realize what an amazing accomplishment that was.”
So what did Bey enjoy about her time off? Carrying on conversations with people on airplanes who didn’t realize who she was.
As she rapidly approaches her 30th birthday, many wonder if she will have a baby. She admits: “I always said I’d have a baby at 30, I’m 29. But I also said I was going to retire at 30. I’m not retiring.”
She doesn’t seem to be opposed to being a momma or making Jay Z a dad, but as far as timing goes– she has decided to leave it up to a higher power: “Only God knows.”
