During a hearing on Friday, L.A. Superior Court judge ordered Lindsay Lohan to serve 120 days in jail for violating her probation. She was immediately taken into custody.
Lohan’s lawyer filed a notice of appeal, which will allow her to post bond for what is now a misdemeanor violation. The judge set bail at $75,000 — and it is expected that Lindsay’s bail bondsman will post the funds sometime Friday evening.
In the meantime, Lohan is headed to Lynwood Correctional Facility, where she will be led through the booking process, including a new mugshot and another set of fingerprints.
Judge Stephanie Saunter ordered Lilo to complete 480 hours of community service, 360 of those hours spent working at Downtown Women’s Center, and the remaining 120 hours to be served at the L.A. County Morgue.
Her felony charge, for the theft of a necklace, was reduced after it was determined that the value of the jewelry was much less than previously reported. A pretrial hearing is set for May 11.
