After nearly three years of filling the house at Caesars Palace Colosseum Theater, Cher is ready to wrap it up and say goodbye. The singing icon will have performed over 200 shows when her stint in Las Vegas is fulfilled early next year.

The casino has announced that her fans will be able to purchase tickets for her final series of shows starting on January 11, 2011. The Colosseum seats 4,300.

Always way ahead of her time, she was known in the 60’s and 70’s for her over-the-top costumes, a trend that is now business as usual for stars like Katy Perry, Rihanna and of course Lady Gaga.

Cher will be ending her show one month before singer Celine Dion, who is currently pregnant with twins, returns for her second long-term engagement at Caesars Palace.
