Jennifer Lopez has officially signed a one year contract with FOX and will appear as an American Idol judge for Season 10. The deal is worth a cool $12 million.

Rumors have been running high since July. Several media outlets suggested that negotiations with Jennifer had stalled because of her “diva demands”, something that FOX has vehemently denied.
J-Lo reportedly hoped to broker a guaranteed movie or TV pilot as part of a $15 million package deal but sources indicate that did not happen.
The premiere of American Idol Season 10 kicks off January 12, 2011 on FOX.
