Melrose Place star Heather Locklear was able to quietly enter and complete a 30 day stint in an in-patient psychological treatment center in Arizona. The actress reportedly sought help for her addiction to prescription drugs.
Sources close to Heather say that the she is doing great and the reason behind seeking help didn’t have anything to do with her arrest for a hit and run back in April.
The incident in April was dismissed because there was not enough evidence to prove that the actress was driving the car in question, though it was found in her garage the next morning. The vehicle is registered to Heather and her ex-husband Richie Sambora.
Locklear’s rep, Cece Yorke said: “Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment.”
