Not sure how this whole thing will turn out, but according to our friends over at TMZ, Michael Lohan is threatening to seek conservatorship over his daughter Lindsay. This process has proven successful with Britney Spears, who did a complete 180 when her father was put in control of her affairs.
Jamie Spears and Michael Lohan seem to have different motives. Unlike Michael, Britney’s dad has never sought media attention or publicity.
Daddy Lohan offered his daughter an ultimatum – either meet with him or he will take the matter to court. His lawyer Lisa Bloom said, “Michael is prepared to pursue legal action to save and protect his daughter.”
While it is obvious that Lindsay needs help, will any judge in his or her right mind determine that Michael is the right person for the job?
We’ve also learned that Lindsay’s landlord is attempting to get a restraining order to keep Michael away from the West Hollywood apartment where he caused “a huge problem” over the weekend. The landlord contacted Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, who told TMZ, “In light of the landlord’s concerns, I may go to court to keep Michael away.”
