Though we are positive Sandra Bullock isn’t finding any solace in the fact that her husband’s mistresses are sorry, they continue to come forward with regrets.
Jesse James Mistress #2 Melissa Smith hand signed and faxed her apology to Sandra’s production company Fortis Films, hoping that the starlet would receive it. The letter was short and to the point, “I’m sure you’re wondering why I’m writing this letter to you. I felt I needed to reach out to you and tell you how deeply sorry I am for everything that you’ve been through.”
In a one page letter acquired by our friends over at TMZ, Smith apologized for her actions and expressed that engaging in sexual relations with a married man is “unforgivable.”
While we can’t fathom that an apology at this point is doing any good, we have to give Melissa credit for stating the obvious: “I know that this message will most likely go unanswered.” It’s a safe bet that the letter will definitely go unanswered.
Smith ended her apology note with an open invitation: “Please contact me if you wish to discuss on the phone or in person.”
Smith claimed that she carried on a two-year affair with the West Coast Chopper CEO, but has made it clear lately, by sporting a Team Sandra T-shirt, her new loyalties.
