Calling all Carrie Bradshaw fans – mark May 27th on your calenders! That is the date that Sex and the City 2 will hit theaters. Never mind the rumors you have heard because ALL of the usual suspects will make their return in the sequel – leading men included. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall, and Kristin Davis are back in the city…just not the same city.
The sequel of the movie puts the fabulous four in Abu Dhabi, a city in the Middle East. OMG! Can you imagine our girls in the Middle East? It makes us giggle. Whatever will they wear? It was a question that SJP also had, ” How do you sort of live up to the idea of fashion being a component of this franchise and be in a culture that requires you to be covered, and at the same time be sexy or lack a sort of chaste quality?”
Yes, things will definitely get interesting. If we thought that NYC got our girls in trouble, the Middle East adds an entirely new dimension to the film. We can’t wait to see how well, or not so well, they adapt.
There is so much drama to be had and we have so many questions. How are Carrie and Big, and is there a baby coming? What crazy thing has Samantha gotten herself into? What about the momma drama with Miranda and Charlotte?
We are soooo excited for the movie and the fashion! Every girl needs a day to dress up and have a night out on the town with her girlfriends! May 27th is it! Get hot, take your girlfriends and head to the movies. Rumor has it we are in for a few surprises and will not be disappointed.
Sex and the City 2 has a lot to live up to because the original Sex and the City movie banked $150 million at the box office!
