Dancing With the Stars professional dancer Karina Smirnoff is more than just an excellent dancer. The stunningly gorgeous Ukrainian beauty has thrown her support and nude body to a new advertising campaign by animal rights group PETA.
The ad was shot by celeb photographer Robert Sebree and the tag line is “I’d rather dance naked than wear fur.” She said, “I did wear fur, especially when I was growing up in the Ukraine.” Smirnoff reportedly saw the light after viewing video footage of baby seals who were killed for their skins. She adds, “there are ways of being warm and being fashionable without being cruel.”
The DWTS mainstay recently called off her engagement to fellow dance pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The couple have signed on for Season 9 of the hit ABC reality show that premiered this week. See which two celebrities got booted this week here.
