Jon Gosselin is ditching his dogs and blaming Kate (of course) for his decision to return them to the breeder.
Jon is telling pals it is Kate’s fault he is discarding the dogs, because she won’t care for them when it’s her turn to stay at the family’s Pennsylvania home.
Shoka and Nala, the German Shepherd puppies Jon recently referred to as “part of the family,” are the latest victims in the saga of the Jon & Kate Plus Eight stars’ bitter separation and impending divorce.
Earlier this summer, Jon reffered to the dogs, telling People magazine, “Those kids beat them up, climb on them, pull their tails, bite at them, drag them around and everything you can imagine not to do to an animal, they’ve done.”
After receiving numerous complaints from concerned citizens, the local Humane Society said “We have no credible reason to believe in any way that there is cruelty going on.”
Jon issued a statement, saying, “Shoka and Nala are loyal companions who we consider members of our family. We would never do anything to hurt them and treat them with the respect and love that they deserve.”
So ditching “members of the family” is how you show respect and love? Oh wait, this is Jon Gosselin we’re talking about.
