Plans to lay Michael Jackson to rest on his birthday were postponed until August 31, and have now been delayed again until September 3.
The Jackson family originally planned to bury The King of Pop on August 29 — which would have been his 51st birthday. They then tried to reschedule for August 31, so the family could settle business matters. Unfortunately that date posed problems because of schools in the area re-opening on that day.
Michael Jackson’s burial will now take place on September 3, at the Holly Terrace in the Great Mausoleum at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA.
The burial will be limited to family and close friends.
