This has been one heck of a week for pop star Britney Spears. Thursday night the singer made a special appearance at Madonna’s concert in L.A. along with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake. Yesterday Spears and her sons Jayden James and Sean Preston boarded a plane and headed to her home town of Kentwood, Louisiana for a little R&R.
Clearly this indicates that she and Kevin Federline must be getting along well. This is the first trip Britney has made with her sons since losing custody earlier this year. A friend of Spears said:
“This is a terrific indication of the progress she’s made, and the growing trust between the two parents. It was arranged cooperatively between Kevin and the lawyers.”
As for her current schedule with the boys, she is allowed two visits and one overnight per week. Her father Jamie Spears, recently awarded permanent conservatorship of Brit’s affairs, went along on the trip.
