Sarah Palin, the center of a firestorm of disapproval, has become the fodder of every publication in the country, including US magazine. She will speak tonight at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she will tell her story and hope to sway public opinion.
After the speech, her family will appear on stage in a show of support. Along with her husband and their children will be Bristol Palin‘s 17 year old boyfriend Levi Johnston. He and Bristol are expectant parents. Governor Palin announced over the weekend that her teenage daughter is 5 months pregnant.
The pair will be seniors at Wasilla High School this fall, though reports yesterday indicate that Johnston is not listed on the 2008-2009 hockey roster. He has been the schools star player with 24 goals in his last 24 games.
Levi Johnston left Alaska early Tuesday morning to join the Palin family in Minnesota, according to his mother. He made shock waves of his own this week when Johnston’s MySpace page was discovered to contain a glimpse of his thoughts – including his declaration that he has a girlfriend but “I don’t want kids”.
