Jennifer Lopez began her career in entertainment as a dancer – performing in various rap music videos, a 1990 episode of Yo! MTV Raps!, as a backup dancer for the New Kids on the Block and Janet Jackson, and as one of the “Fly Girls” on the television program In Living Color.
In May 2001, Lopez attended a White House benefit for UNICEF, where she assisted magician David Copperfield with an illusion which gave the appearance that she had been sawed into six pieces.
