Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married last night in front of 19 guests at an intimate ceremony at their home in Beverly Hills. Their rep confirmed this information to People magazine.
Ellen, 50, and Portia, 35, started dating back in December of 2004. When the Supreme Court overturned the ban on gay marriage, citing that it was unconstitutional, Ellen told her talk show audience of her plans to wed.
In a past interview, Ellen had this to say about Portia:
“She’s taught me lessons about myself, and I feel like I have taught her. We have both changed and grown, and we just feel like, ‘Oh, Okay, this is completion.'”
Both women wore Zac Posen and exchanged Neil Lane rings. The arrangements were provided by LA florist Mark’s Garden.
