Carrie Underwood is undeniably one of the hottest country singers on the planet, so why is she having such a hard time finding a meaningful relationship? In the September issue of Allure magazine Carrie opens up about the trials and tribulations of dating and finding a sincere man.
“You never really know why someone wants to be around you, or if they do genuinely like you. I wish everyone had a label on their forehead so you could automatically tell their intentions. Sometimes you just wish no one wanted anything from you.”
Underwood clarified the ending of her relationship with Gossip Girl’s star Chace Crawford and said that they just simply didn’t work out, nothing bad tore them apart. But when it came to talking about Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, currently hanging with Jessica Simpson, that was a different story.
“We were both small town people doing very big things, and we relied on each other, dealing with fame.”
In past interviews Carrie claimed that her relationship with Romo was never all that serious but it sounds like maybe he still holds some feelings for the country star. Underwood said she still hears from the football player and that when he calls sometimes she answers and sometimes she doesn’t.
Oh, I hope Jessica Simpson doesn’t read her interview in Allure. She’s not the most stable girl where Underwood is concerned – case in point the t-shirt that dissed Carrie Underwood.
