Katie Holmes jetted back to Los Angeles yesterday to walk the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of Tropic Thunder. The actress join Tom Cruise at Mann’s Village Theater for the star studded affair as they previewed the screening of the action comedy directed by Ben Stiller.
Holmes and her young daughter Suri have been temporarily living in Manhattan while she prepares for her upcoming Broadway debut in All My Sons. She has become a paparazzi favorite as she is photographed heading off to the theater for rehearsals.
Tropic Thunder, starring Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black and Ben Stiller has an interesting plot. Through a series of freak occurrences, a group of actors shooting a big budget war movie are forced to become the soldiers they are portraying. The movie they think they are making isn’t a movie anymore.
Other guests included Amy Adams, Jason Bateman, Christine Taylor, Jodie Foster, Alicia Silverstone, Vanessa Angel and Rashida Jones.
