Lindsay Lohan and her DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson have been in New York City, where Lohan is filming an upcoming Ugly Betty episode. The pair were out clubbing on Friday night and ran into some trouble as they exited an establishment on 32nd Street in the wee hours of Saturday morning. The actress was reportedly clipped by a motorcycle and required medical attention as a result.
The actress was treated and released from the Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan at 4:00 a.m. Saturday morning. The police were not involved and apparently have no record of the incident, which would seem to suggest that she and Sam simply jumped into a cab and initiated the medical visit on their own.
Dina Lohan and Lindsay’s publicist have both denied that the incident occurred. On the flip side, a Beth Isreal employee acknowledged that someone calling herself Lindsay Lohan had been treated early Saturday morning.
As is often the case with the Lohan clan, they spin their own version of reality. The starlet is currently filming Labor Pains back in L.A. It wouldn’t be in her best interest to hold up production of the film. This may be why she and the family are down playing the incident.
Michael Lohan spoke to his daughter who told him the accident ‘was nothing’. He was quoted by the New York Post as saying, “She’s not hurt. That’s all I really care about.”
Lohan, 22, has signed on to film five guest spots on Ugly Betty this season, playing a recurring role as Betty’s high school rival. She first appears in last season’s finale and was tapped for the additional work.
