Bruce Willis had a severe stuttering problem until his late teens when he discovered it was easier to express himself on stage, losing the stutter in the process.

Movies featuring Willis have grossed $2.55 to $3.04 billion, making him the sixth highest-grossing actor in a leading role, and eighth highest including supporting roles. In addition to numerous other awards, he also won an Emmy in 2000 for Outstanding Guest Appearance in a Comedy Series for his role as the father of one of Ross’ girlfriends on “Friends.”

Maxim magazine named his sex scenes in Color of Night (1994) as the hottest sex scenes ever in films.

Willis has release three albums: The Return of Bruno in 1987, If It Don’t Kill You, It Just Makes You Stronger in 1989, and Classic Bruce Willis: The Universal Masters Collection in 2001.

Willis was born in West Germany and his father was an American soldier. An avid supporter of the right to bear arms, Willis has also been very vocal about supporting our troops, stating that he is not in favor of the war in Iraq, but instead liked “to support the young men and women who are over there participating in the war.” He has also criticized the media for their coverage of the war.

I went to Iraq because what I saw when I was over there was soldiers — young kids for the most part — helping people in Iraq; helping getting the power turned back on, helping get hospitals open, helping get the water turned back on and you don’t hear any of that on the news. You hear, ‘X number of people were killed today,’ which I think does a huge disservice. It’s like spitting on these young men and women who are over there fighting to help this country.
