Supermodel Camila Alves and her actor boyfriend Matthew McConaughey announced yesterday that she had given birth to a son. The new baby boy weighed in at 7 lbs., 4 oz. and entered the world at 6:22 p.m. in Los Angeles on Monday, July 7, 2008, as reported by People magazine.
The actors rep. Alan Nierob released a statement from McConaughey:
“Camila and I were side by side the entire time. We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world – having a child and making a family. Now comes the greatest adventure – raising one together.”
The beautiful Brazilian supermodel has been dating McConaughey since June 2007. They announced in January that they were expecting a child together.
