Actress Uma Thurman‘s rep, Stephen Huvane has confirmed to People magazine, that Swiss multimillionaire Arpad Busson popped the question and Uma accepted.
The 8-plus carat diamond, surrounded by 20 smaller stones, is surely the icing on the cake for Thurman. A source close to the couple stated that “it’s the most beautiful piece I have ever seen, Arki did a wonderful job”.
The lovely Uma has been dating Arki since last summer. The couple were able to successfully pull off a long distance relationship; he is based in London and she in New York.
Arpad had a previous relationship with supermodel Elle Macpherson and is the father of her two sons. Uma has a daughter and a son with actor Ethan Hawke. The two divorced in 2003.
