Lindsay Lohan is channeling Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming issue of New York Magazine. It was 46 years ago that the blonde bombshell posed at the Hotel Bel-Air. Those photos are considered the most valuable images ever captured of Monroe. The remake of Marilyn’s famous ‘The Last Sitting’ photo shoot has been undertaken by Lindsay Lohan.
New York Magazine did an interview with Lohan. In it she said:
“Here is a woman who is giving herself to the public.” Lohan continued, “She’s saying, ‘Look, you’ve taken a lot from me, so why don’t I give it to you myself.’ She’s taking control back.”
Check out some photos after the jump. Several photos are the original Marilyn Monroe pictures from the 1962 photo shoot.
