George Clooney and Don Cheadle have been selected to receive the 2007 Peace Summit Award for their efforts to bring peace to Darfur.
The Hollywood actors will be presented with the award by the 8th World Summit of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates at the annual meeting in Rome on December 13.
Clooney and Cheadle, who starred together in “Oceans Eleven” have traveled to the African nation over the past two years bringing attention to the plight of the war refugees there.
Both actors appeared in the documentary “Darfur Now” earlier this year.
