Twenty year old Brenda Song, who some of you may know from the hit Disney show Suite Life of Zach and Cody, is featured in the back of this weeks LA Weekly. Oh…and it is for her services as an escort.
TMZ has the picture of Brenda and if you check out the advertisement, take note that they misspelled Hawaiian. LA Weekly has some explaining to do.
Disney is not taking this matter sitting down and rightly so. Their young stars put the Disney legal team into overdrive on a pretty frequent basis. They quickly moved to stop photos of Miley Cyrus when she had photos leaked – without much success. The assumption in this particular case is that Song is an innocent victim of this escort service. A rep for Disney has said:
“This is an unauthorized use of Brenda Song’s image and her personal attorney has offered a personal cease and desist to the advertiser.”
We expect that the matter will be quickly resolved. Disney will see to it.
