Jacoby Ellsbury is considered one of the most eligible bachelors on the planet. The 24 year old was born in Madras, Oregon and is a Major League Baseball outfielder for the Boston Red Sox. He is a member of the Colorado River Indian Tribe, making him the first Navajo to reach the Major League.
The New York Times described him in a September 2007 article as a “cult hero” who brings “speed, improved defense, and unbridled enthusiasm.” In his rookie year with the Boston Red Sox, they won the World Series in a four games sweep of the Colorado Rockies.
Ellsbury and his girlfriend, 24 year old Kelsey Hawkins, are both alumni of Oregon State University. They have been dating 1-1/2 years. Hawkins, who called New York home, will run in tomorrow’s Boston Marathon. Wearing Bib Number 16046, she will hit the streets with 25,000 runners.
Race results: Kelsey finished with a time of 5:05:38 – she placed 20,868 among all finisher.
