Pixar’s animated film Wall-E is the story of a futuristic trash compactor in love, and all indications are that moviegoers will love Wall-E right back.
The film opens nationwide on June 27, and early reviews indicate another home run for Pixar.
From CanMag:
Wall-E is everything I want a Pixar movie to be. It’s a whole new world, in this case not quite within ours and definitely not independent of ours, but perhaps a world ahead of ours. It is meaningful, funny and heartfelt.
From CNN:
Grace, beauty, joy, laughter and love. A wonderful combination for any movie. “Wall-E” is easily the best film of the year so far.
From Entertainment Weekly:
I’m not sure I’d trust anyone, kid or adult, who didn’t get a bit of a lump in the throat by the end of WALL-E, a film that brings off what the best (and only the best) Pixar films have: It whisks you to another world, then makes it every inch our own.
Wall-E has a running time of 1 hour and 37 minutes and is rated G.
