After a catfight at a party in Malibu Sunday night, Shanna Moakler and Kim Kardashian have taken their fight to the next level in a battle of the blogs.
Kim was standing with Carmen Electra, the host of the party, when Shanna threw a drink at her, calling her a few choice names.
Shanna claims Kim, who modeled for ex-husband Travis Barker‘s Famous Stars and Straps clothing line is responsible for breaking up their marriage. “She was sending him text messages and e-mails, and this was when Travis and I were working on ,” Moakler told Page Six. “When it happened, I asked her, ‘What are these e-mails?’ She had no answers for me. She was blatantly disrespectful.”
“She ruined my marriage and my family. If I get passionate about it, they call me crazy,” Moakler relates.
Shanna blogged about the incident on Myspace, calling Kim a “simple closet organizer who has no modeling skill, hosting ability, acting talent.”
Kardashian retaliated by strolling around in front of the paparazzi in a t-shirt from Barker’s line on Monday.
Shanna then did a scathing interview about the controversy on thedirty.com, calling Kim a “donkey.”
Then Kim apologized on her blog, saying, “it was immature of me to wear a Famous Stars and Straps t-shirt out the other day. I just wasn’t thinking. I want to apologize to you guys for causing confusion and instigating a negative situation.”
Kim writes, “I ONLY had a professional relationship with Travis, in which he hired me to represent his brand for one season, which was a year and a half ago,” adding, “Reggie and I are in a normal healthy relationship. We trust each other blindly. He was there with me every step of the way throughout the Famous shoot.”
Moakler then issued a statement to TMZ saying:
“I have for some time now avoided Kim Kardashian at all costs. I’ve avoided events, parties etc. in order to not see her.
“Quite some time ago I received emails from her mobile device of VERY inappropriate conduct between herself and my husband at the time, that were NOT at all “friendly” and very much “romantically” inclined. I spoke to Kim Kardashian, asking her to please stay away from my family as we are trying to heal after a very trying time, she agreed and but failed to do so.
“If I had known Ms. Kardashian was going to be at the BBQ in Malibu I wouldn’t have gone. One day women will realize when you destroy families there will be angry and hurt ex-wives to deal with. I still have these emails and I won’t release them as not to embarrass my ex and my family any further.
I find it sad that these types of events take center stage over the other positive things that I do in my work and life but I will not ever stop being brutally honest and staying true to myself. Not even for Hollywood.”
Frankly I think these two just need to go ahead and throw down. Just get it over with. Mud wrestling anyone?
