X-Files actor and Golden Globe winner David Duchovny has entered a rehab center for an addiction to sex. This has been confirmed by David’s attorney, Stanton ‘Larry’ Stein to People magazine.
Here is the only statement given by Duchovny thus far:
“I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction. I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”
David, 48, is married to actress Tea Leoni, 42, and the couple have two children together, daughter Madelaine West, 9, and son Kyd, 6. The couple met in 1997 and they had a nine week courtship before exchanging wedding vows. Tia has made two movie in 2008, Ghost Town and Manure.
