Elisabeth Hasselbeck and her three year old daughter Grace were at a Disney themed event at the Manhattan Toys R Us on Sunday. All smiles, the co-host of The View was on hand with her oldest child to view the launch of new pre-school toys and electronics. Grace started pre-school last week and her mother provided television viewers with the details.
We fully expect to hear all about Hasselbeck’s weekend adventure on Monday’s show – although Bill Clinton may take center stage as special guest. He will be on hand to give his take on the 2008 election. This should prove very interesting. Elisabeth, a staunch Republican and George W. Bush supporter, is sure to have a laundry list of questions.
She got into some hot water at a luncheon on September 8th when she contrasted previous guests Cindy McCain against Michelle Obama. She said the main difference was that Obama brought a list of topics that were off limits and McCain did not. Hasselbeck remarked that Cindy McCain obviously “had nothing to hide”.
Hasselbeck is married to NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck who played one game for the Arizona Cardinal’s last year. His only other NFL action came in 2003. He is currently a free agent.
Besides their daughter, the couple have a son Taylor, who will be a year old in early November. He was born during their very brief stint in AZ.
Rumors have been running rampant that the television personality has a job offer on the table with FOX News. She is said to be considering her options.
