Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds exchanged wedding vows last night in Vancouver, British Columbia. The 31 year old actor and his bride chose Canada because it is where Reynolds was born and raised. It is the first marriage for both.
The 23 year old actress began dating Ryan last year and they announced their engagement in May 2008. The ceremony was a private affair conducted on Saturday, September 27, 2008.
Johansson, born in New York City, holds dual American and Danish citizenship. She has been busy in her film career with recently released Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Two movies awaiting release are The Spirit and He’s Just Not That Into You.
Reynolds most recent film was Definitely, Maybe. He has Fireflies in the Garden and Adventureland awaiting release and has X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The Proposal in post-production.
