Some of you may have thought Madonna could do no wrong, including the singer herself. Well, too bad for her, but some people don’t care who they’re dealing with and will continue to uphold the rules and regulations.
Earlier in the month, on the only UK stop in Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet tour, the diva played at Wembley Stadium. The show was to begin at 8:30 and go no longer than 10:30 which happens to be the stadium’s curfew. We’re not sure if this was the fault of Madge but the show didn’t get started on time and ended up running 40 minutes late.
Doesn’t sound that bad to you? Well the stadium is charging her $92,500 for every 15 minutes that she broke curfew. The total on the fine was, $249,750.
Although that’s chump change for the “Material Girl,” we imagine that she has some heads rolling over this little mess.
