It looks like the time has come for country singer Mindy McCready to face the music – pun intended. Tomorrow Mindy will turn herself in at a Tennessee jail and serve 60 days for a probation violation.
Riddled with troubles, it is time for the one time music sensation to get back to reality, clean living and criminal free existence. In a statement from Mindy that was released today she said:
“I am working very hard to put all of this behind me as quickly as possible so I can get back to what I like to do most: sing, write songs, and entertain.”
She also went on to thank her fans for their unwavering support. In 2004 her downward spiral started and she has struggled to gain control of her issues with drug arrests, prescription fraud and domestic abuse charges.
McCready’s goal is to prove that she is healthy so that she can regain custody of her son Zander. We wish her all the best and hope that she can get her life and family back together.
