Rumors are floating that Michael Douglas has gone under the knife and had a face lift. We’ve scoured recent photos and believe the hype actually dates back to some photos that hit the internet back in 2005.
Photographers snapped pictures of the actor leaving a restaurant while on holiday in Barbados and noted the fact that he had a band aid near his left ear and a visible weeping wound near his right ear. Bloggers put two and two together and decided that Douglas was recovering from a face lift.
His spokesperson, Allen Burry, released a statement saying that what people mistook for plastic surgery was really the removal of several non-cancerous lesions.
Douglas has been married to Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, 39, since 2000. They have two children, Dylan and Carys.
We think Douglas looks darn good for 64. While we haven’t been able to uncover any compelling evidence to suggest he has recently undergone a face lift, he may be a fan of Botox…but then who in Hollywood isn’t.
