Carrie Prejean is having a particularly busy week in the media. We learned yesterday that Donald Trump, owner of the Miss USA and Miss Universe organizations has finally gotten fed up with his fair-haired Miss California USA and did what he does best–he fired her. Prejean claims to be shocked by the news of her firing. In fact, she indicates she didn’t know about it until TMZ broke the story.
Now we find out that the Miss California organization has been talking to Playboy on her behalf. This shouldn’t come as any surprise. After all, the pageant organization paid for her breast implants before the Miss USA contest. Proving that anything goes in sunny California, pageant director Keith Lewis has also been working on a deal to get her a gig on the reality show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
According to Prejean, Playboy has offered her $140,000 to pose semi-nude. So far she has dismissed the proposal. It should be interesting to see if she is merely holding out for a sweeter deal.
