It’s been a while since we have seen or heard from singer Kid Rock. Rock celebrated his 39th birthday at Palazzo Las Vegas Lavo on January 17, 2010 and spoke with People magazine.
The subject was young country singer Taylor Swift. While Kid admits he doesn’t often play Swift’s tunes when he’s in a country mood, he does think she is extremely talented.
“She knows how to play the guitar and she writes her own songs so God bless her. I wish there was more of that out there. Hopefully she gets better and grows and keeps it all going.”
If Kid Rock isn’t listening to Swift, then who is he listening to? Zac Brown and Jamie Johnson are at the top of his list. Kid likes the fact that they also write and perform their own songs.
