Beyonce Knowles, who recently announced she is taking a much needed six month break from music, graces the cover of the February issue of Allure magazine.
The photo shoot was the work of photographer Michael Thompson of New York City. The accompanying interview covered a number of subjects including the singer’s admission that she no longer needs her alter-ego Sasha Fierce and is sorry she ever coined the word ‘bootylicious’. Knowles would like to have babies some day but is more interested in relaxing right now.
The talented musician has been accused of being too provocative with her performance costumes while touring in some Asian venues. While performing in Beijing, she was criticized by the Chinese press – see the photos here.
