In September 2003 singer Melissa Etheridge and Tammy Lynn Michaels exchanged wedding vows in Malibu, California. Now almost 9 years later the two have decided to go their separate ways.
Melissa’s rep confirmed the news to People magazine, “Melissa and Tammy Etheridge are saddened to announce that they are now separated.” As with most celebrity splits, the following statement was released: “We ask for consideration and respect for our family as we go through this difficult time.”
Tammy gave birth to their son Miller and daughter Johnnie Rose. Melissa also has two children, Bailey and Beckett, with former girlfriend Julie Cypher.
