The FBI was called in by Missouri police officers two weeks ago after getting a tip that Jesse James’ mistress Michelle Bombshell McGee had hired a hitman to kill her ex-husband and Sandra Bullock.
McGee’s ex Shane Modica told law enforcement officials that he received a phone call from a man who claimed he had been offered money by McGee to get rid of him and the Oscar winning actress. The mystery caller told Modica that he had been contacted by Michelle before the cheating scandal emerged.
The ‘hitman’ also called Missouri authorities and told them the same story. They contacted the FBI in Missouri, who investigated on their end and also involved the FBI in Los Angeles, where McGee, James and Bullock reside.
The good news is that the tip turned out to be bogus. According to TMZ, the man who made the phone calls to Modica and authorities had previously suffered a head injury and was known to “lose sense of reality.”
